Be a Roadrunner Volunteer

We hope you like what is happening with our organization and what it is doing for Stevenson Elementary.  There are new and exciting developments every day.  By being a volunteer, you can help take part with the growth of our organization with aims to empower our school and our children.  Help the Stevenson Roadrunners race to the top.

Volunteer Opportunities

  • Classroom.  The PTO encourages parents or guardians to volunteer 6 hours of their time each school year with a teacher.  Your child's teacher can always use a helping hand in the classroom or with projects you can do at home.  Check with them to see how you can help.

  • Library.  Our school LIBRARIAN could use some assistance shelving books and reading to children.

  • 5th Grade Snack Sale. Snacks & beverages are being sold after school to help raise funds towards the 5th grad May field trip to Austin/UT.

    • Mondays at 3:15PM to 4:15PM (weather permitting)

    • Fridays at 12:45PM to 1:45PM (weather permitting)

  • Stevenson Roadrunner Newsletter (PTO Newsletter).  Volunteers needed to help sort and distribute our newletter.

    • 1st Monday of each month at 2:30PM

      • If Monday falls on a holiday when there is NO school, newsletter distribution will be on the day school re-opens

      • If re-opening of school after vacation falls on a Friday, newsletter distribution time will be at 12:00PM

  • BBeep Store. We will be be selling knick-knack items and a few school supplies from our store in the Cafeteria during lunch hours on Mondays and Fridays from 10:00AM to 1:00PM.
